Our LR 800 and 900 series is a traditional tried and tested Hydraulic Scissor action short rise vertical step lift has been designed to overcome minimal barriers to wheelchair access to public and private buildings alike. The LR range has been designed to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing being suited to both internal and external applications.

The LR range can be modified into a complete solution where steps are not available. A set of four bridging steps can be added to the lift creating level access for the wheelchair user and when not in use reverting back to a normal staircase for normal pedestrian use.

With safety in mind we always recommend a half height gate for travels over 500mm and can supply an additional half height gate complete with electro mechanical interlock for added security whilst the underside of the platform is protected by a rubber protective bellows arrangement fitted to the around the platform.

Access to the platform from the lower level is via a powered ramp which automatically folds into a wheel stop barrier when the lift is in motion. Therefore no pit is required and the lift benefits from minimal installation or site preparation time.

We can offer range of custom finishes from RAL paint to stainless steel and glass options with corporate logo’s etched on to the glass if so required in the more prestigious application.

Service and maintenance requirements are minimal and in most cases only an annual service visit by our Hiro trained engineer is required. The Hiro 450 is both type approved and CE marked in line with the DDA & Doc M recommendations
