The “Domus” lift offers all the attributes of a platform lift with the added advantage of a full lift cab which is enclosed on 3 sides. This creates the passenger lift feel and allows the lift to be put into more safety conscious applications. The open side (the door entrance(s)) is fully protected by an infra red curtain, which is a series of infra red light beams which if interrupted will immediately stop the lift both safely and securely.

The flexibility of this model is second to none with models that can be installed in both brick built shafts and also into applications requiring the lift to have its own purpose built modular structure. This structure can be supplied with our standard aluminium composite panels OR our toughened and laminated safety glass panels for the more prestigious locations OR alternatively a mixture of both.

This flexibility means that we can provide a min cabin size is 800mm wide x 800mm deep, with models installed into brick built shafts and extends up to a maximum cabin size of 1100mm wide x 1500mm deep.

The composite panels are solid 12mm panels made up of 10mm insulation inside the 2 aluminium outer skins thus creating a sturdy and aesthetically pleasing look to the standard model. Whereas the glazed panels can be supplied in either a plain, tinted or smoked glass finish and can also be etched with either your company or promotional logos, thus creating a custom feel for the more prestigious locations.

This model has a traditional hydraulic drive system which has proven over time it’s reliability and endurance and couple this with state of the art/technology and lift controls which are designed in line with the DDA recommendations to make the users experience of using this system both safe and satisfying.

The system is Type Approved and CE marked and has both 230kg and 400kg options for lifting capacity within our own purpose built modular structure, which is capable of sustaining up to a maximum of 15 metres lift travel and serving up to 6 floors.
