Disabled Lift
All Axcess Limited a market leading specialist in the supply and installation of lifts with the specific aim of overcoming the physical barriers to disabled access in public, commercial and domestic buildings in-line with the requirements of both the DDA and Doc M of the Building regulations.
With the introduction of the DDA Part III 2004 it is now the responsibility for all service providers to provide barrier free access for the disabled. This means Retailers, Hoteliers, Educational Facilities, Churches or any other places that the public may meet or congregate, are all required to comply with the best practice recommendations.
Doc M 2000 of the building regulations dictates that any new build will be designed to meet the level access ideal as stated in BS 8300.
Whilst at the time of writing these regulations are correct we are also aware of future progressive technical changes to the DDA which will further influence both building design and usage in the future.
In direct response to this most challenging market sector we at All Axcess Limited have made strategic alliances with several world renowned European suppliers with many years of experience in the design and manufacture of specialist lifts to meet these challenges.
For example a typical application may be in an existing building where there is a vertical barrier to access which might be a small flight of steps on the exterior of an existing building.
A typical solution for this application could be a Wheelchair Step Lift which has the ability to travel up to 1 or 2 meters with gated protection on the upper level and a small automatic ramp or level access on the lower level.
