Designed for Straight staircases

The Hiro 350 inclined platform lift has been specifically designed to overcome physical barriers for wheelchair access when a vertical lift is impractical or not the preferred solution.

This type of lift requires minimal builders work and is an ideal solution for existing building adaptations and or full refurbishments projects. The single piece hard anodised aluminium rail can be either wall or stanchion mounted to most existing staircases.

Our latest development for the 350 is a new 24 Vdc powered discreet rack and pinion drive system, a deviation from our unique patented friction drive system used on all our curved lifts today. A key factor for our new 350 design in this more competitive and widely subscribed market is one of cost. Most competitive products are being imported from low cost environments such as China, Eastern Europe and Canada and subsequently of varying quality.

With this in mind the new 350 track has a very discreet shielded fine rack and pinion arrangement built into the track and therefore not visible to the eye. With ride quality and comfort also being significant factors along with minimal installation time and maintenance requirements. We have achieved these goals with the new 350 and set new market standards of being virtually maintenance free with installation times now less than 50% of the old unit and superior ride quality.

Our lifting platform is available in either standard or custom sizes to suit your specific application. The platform is fully automatic and controlled by either constant pressure radio remote landing call stations or the flexible wonder lead controller which is used when the lift is in use and can be operated by either the occupant or their carer. When the lift is not in use it can be neatly folded away with the barrier arms folded neatly into the platform preventing potential misuse and damage.

Service and maintenance requirements are minimal and in most cases only an annual service visit by our Hiro trained engineer is required. The 320 is controlled by our new P40 microprocessor controller with a surface mounted visual display unit enabling full condition monitoring at all times. Speed and control from the microprocessor controller enables us to smoothly accelerate the platform through a range of speeds on straight lengths of track and slowing down into the bends which adds to the comfort and safety of the user.

The Hiro Lift 350 is a market leading product designed to exceed the requirements of the DDA and Part M, with future proofed German technology and design manufactured to meet the new harmonised European standard EN81-41.
