Designed for Curved staircases

The Hiro 320 inclined platform lift has been specifically designed to overcome physical barriers for wheelchair access when a vertical lift is impractical or not the preferred solution. With our unique patented “photogramerty” incremental staircase photography measurement system we are able to tackle the simplest to the larger more complex designs with multiple stops with ease and confidence.

This type of lift requires minimal builders work and is an ideal solution for existing building adaptations and or full refurbishments projects. The stainless steel guide rails can be either wall or stanchion mounted to most existing staircases.

With its unique patented DC powered friction drive system we are able to use completely smooth stainless steel guide rails which can be also used as a stylish and fully compliant handrail when the lift is not in use. The rail design promotes effortless smooth travel coupled with being maintenance free and suitable for both internal and external applications. No need for unsightly and potentially dangerous rack and pinion arrangements on the track or travelling power cables following the lifting platform. We at Hiro use the track as a conduit to transfer the low voltage power cables inside the track to the upper or lower battery charge points.

Our lifting platform is available in either standard or custom sizes to suit your specific application. The platform is fully automatic and controlled by either constant pressure radio remote landing call stations or the flexible wonder lead controller which is used when the lift is in use and can be operated by either the occupant or their carer. When the lift is not in use it can be neatly folded away with the barrier arms folded neatly into the platform preventing potential misuse and damage.

Service and maintenance requirements are minimal and in most cases only an annual service visit by our Hiro trained engineer is required. The 320 is controlled by our new P40 microprocessor controller with a surface mounted visual display unit enabling full condition monitoring at all times. Speed and control from the microprocessor controller enables us to smoothly accelerate the platform through a range of speeds on straight lengths of track and slowing down into the bends which adds to the comfort and safety of the user.

The Hiro Lift 320 is a market leading product designed to exceed the requirements of the DDA and Part M, with future proofed German technology and design manufactured to meet the new harmonised European standard EN81-41.
