The Hiro 160 / 180 inclined chair lift has been specifically designed to overcome the physical barrier a staircase can become for the aged and people with reduced mobility. We at Hiro have created a unique product which is designed to luxuriously glide along its guide rails via our patented friction drive system.

We only employ the finest of materials on this premier product, for example we use polished Stainless Steel guide rails where others may use Mild Steel with unsightly and potentially hazardous rack and pinion drives. We have a comprehensive range of fabric and painted finished for both the chair and carriage.

With our unique patented “photogramerty” incremental staircase photography measurement system we are able to tackle the simplest to the larger more complex designs with multiple stops with ease and confidence and can position the lift on either the internal or external radius of the staircase.

Our chair lift is also suitable for external applications alike and be designed for multiple landings travel on the horizontal if required. We have a powered swivelling seat for safer usage on the upper landing and a powered hinged track available for the situations where a doorway is directly in a doorway at the foot of the staircase. The lift is fully automatic and controlled by either constant pressure radio remote landing call stations a flexible wonder lead controller or the armrest mounted joystick

Service and maintenance requirements are minimal and in most cases only an annual service visit by our Hiro trained engineer is required. The 160 / 180 is controlled by our new P30 microprocessor controller with a surface mounted visual display unit enabling full condition monitoring at all times. Speed and control from the microprocessor controller enables us to smoothly accelerate the chair lift through a range of speeds on straight lengths of track and slowing down into the bends which adds to the comfort and safety of the user.
